iTunes has its own AIFF encoder, which will enable you to convert .mp3 files to .aif. If you haven't already, download iTunes.

Probably the easiest to use is also free - Switch Sound File Converter
http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html
click on "windows download" this is the free version; if prompted to install other software be aware that none is free apart from WavePad which you can download separately.
