I put my old man (my first horse - it is a nickname) in this trailer when we were moving once and the guy couldn't drive well at all. Well, my old man would go readily in any trailer, except that one. He knew which trailer that was - and I'm not talking I tried to put him in that trailer a week later, it was a few months later, to go to a horse show. The only time he ever refused to go into a trailer of any kind. Horse remember, especially if you are a regular. Some will react more than others. I think many lesson horses will not react as much because they have so many different people riding them and leaving or moving on to another horse that they don't have time to get attached to one person and learn not to. Also, the filly I sold will still perk up and walk to me when I whistle. It has been a few years and she isn't on the same property where I keep my horses anymore.
