I prefer to put these items on heavy plastic hangers, and hang the hangers from the clothes line, or better yet, is to hang the hangers from your open, overhead garage door, from its bottom rail. The bottom rail has small weeping holes in it, so the rain can drain out, you place the hanger into one of these holes, then the wind cannot blow your clothing away. However, if you rather use, the directly line method;
* Shirts & Blouses, hang from the hem,
* Pants & Skirts hang from the waistband,
* Socks hand from the toe,
* Underware hang from the waistband.

First of all always wash your clothes inside out and hang the same. For shirts I usually hang them with the peg under the arm. With pants I think its bests to hang them by the inside waist band or just the whole waist depending on the pants.

I always hang shirts upside down by the bottoms of the side (underarm) seams, to speed drying and lessen wrinkles. Pants should also hang upside down to reduce wrinkles, pinned over the line at the two leg seams. Their weight pulls them straighter.
They will smell SO good you won't want to go back to a dryer!!

Use enough clothespins. Hang them like they would hang on a hanger. Hang pants on pants frames. I would dry blue jeans inside out. It prevents sun fading. Check for bird poop when taking them in to put away.

that depends on which country you live in..if u live in a hot country, hang the clothes waist up, then the sun will try this area. If you live in a colder climate, hang them feet up.
