I'm not sure but as they have to be light I would say they would be Aluminium

the 24 inch telescopic truncheon is made of aluminium and the ones you see in there belts are made of a rigid plastic..hope this helped

They usually aren't made out of metal unless you are in the police academy testing it out on the guy in the padded suit. Usually they are made out of a strong piece of wood coated thickly in rubber. Some may have a thin metal rod inside, but generally it's just wood and rubber.

the older type truncheons were made from "lignum vitae", an extremely dense hardwood and one of the only woods that doesnt float on water (also damn expensive)

I thought they was made by wood. A hard wood.

If not they would be made from a solid plastic.
