Y.D.---I'm not judging you. I'm asking if you have examined your true motives.
I have no reason to be dishonest since I'm not trying to profit from my beliefs.

Y.D.--- You're not thinking. You're rationalizing. Your are creating self-satisfying reasons for your belief w/ little regard for logic.

I don't know. I'll just say I'd rather fight for God than Satan, and if I profit in doing so, and living a good life thats alright.

wow great question i never thought of it like this. You have a great point. If we live a great life so that we benefit rather then because it is right then would we still even make it to heaven? To tell the truth i do not know if anyone can honestly say that they live a devout religous life for no other reason then it is right, because upon being asked whether they would like to live a religous life then still go to hell im sure most would not like it. On the other hand, Jesus did say to live a great life so that you could enter heaven. I am still not sure but i would have to say that if you go for the jackpot you will get it. Although i wish that i wasn't in it for the jackpot like i know i atleast partially am.

I feel there is a mix up in prioritising. It is not the intention to profit coming first. It is the belief first which might result in, in some cases, profiteering..

The reason I am saying this is because one cannot be fooling around with answers concerning belief in God. You can try it yourself. Only when you feel strongly about something you can understand the nuances of the questioner and express the views.

You believe someone is not being objective. How do you judge that? You can judge that only from your perspective.

Religion is the ultimate con, it is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. No wonder so many people jump on this manured money wagon.

it's not really profiting, it is all about Love. Just like your mother and father birthed you and they loved you, so it's only natural to love them back. (even if they don't love you) - Same thing with God - he loves all us unconditionally - he gave us life, breath, the ability to think and reason
