Obtain some proxy software.
Proxy software will allow you to access websites as if you are originating from the (proxy) server of your choice.
If you select a proxy from the US you'll be able to open accounts from websites as if you were living in the US.
There's usually a drop down menu that you can access after installing proxy software that lets you choose the country of origin that you want to appear as coming from.
Cheap proxy software can be found on the Internet. Google it.

Why bother if you use yahoo US home page you can still access your mail from UK i use yahoo UK home page and there email all the time but i don't always live in the UK,if your happy with the mail account you have why change it.If you really want a US email address create a new one on US yahoo .

I wouldnt know but our daughter lives in the USA and she's with Yahoo america. why bother changing,but you can always ask Yahoo central they will tell you yes or no.
