Welcome to Yahoo Answers! You'll get a lot of replies to this question... By the way, what's it doing that requires a reboot?

Bottom left corner, click Start., then click Shut Down. When the window shows up, press the down arrows on your keyboard until Restart shows up, and press enter.

I have an old 98 computer that I use sometimes. When it really gets cranky, I'll just unplug it for a couple of minutes and let it think about it. Then I'll plug it back in. When it wakes back up it will check itself, start back up, and work just fine.

I use a 98 at home and at work. Not many of them left. If you're haveing problems just fire another question int the site, or e -me through the site. I have a few people that I help out that way.

Good Luck!!
