Energy is Energy.
There is no positive or negative Energy.
Humans in order to have a common understanding when communicate they have accepted by convention to describe the Polarity as "negative "or "positive", as for example we defined the polarity of a magnetic field as "positive" or "North" and "negative" or "South".

When energy is absorbed the reaction is said to be endothermic and accordin 2 sign convention it is +ve, while wen enrgy is evolved the reaction is said to be exothermic and the value of delta H is written with a negative sign.
u can also write energy evolved with +ve sign on products side or -ve sign on reactants whlile for energy absorbed u can write it with +ve sign on reactants side or -ve sign on products side. IF U NEED ANY MORE INFORMATION CONTACT ME.

Depend. If you mean heat, when heat is absorbed by the system then it is positive. If the heat is released to the serrounding then is negetive sign. It is the same as energy. It is depend on the system point of view or surrounding.
