The latest survey report by urban planner RITES has recommended a Metro route to Gurgaon via Vasant Kunj. The survey commissioned by the Delhi government says that the Vasant Kunj route is the most feasible on the basis of ridership and cost estimates.
THE ROUTE
Central Secretariat- Ashoka Hotel-R.K.Puram sector 3-Munirka-Nelson Mandela Marg-Vasant Kunj-Gurgaon. The link will serve 28 areas in Delhi and 7 areas in Gurgaon. It is also expected to cover the proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at IMT Manesar and Garhi Harsarao.

COST:Rs 2,675 crore

It should be from Dwarka Sector 9 but not from South Delhi.
