Ask granny if she wants to see the granddaughter happy.. of course she does. Now also tell her that you can come by and do 'chores' for her, since you're becoming part of the family and all. Maybe after you've hooked up with granny a couple of times, she will gain an interest in the new marriage and pass along all kinds of do's and don'ts to your new wife. Nothing like the voice of experience, eh ?
