well since it was for the people of India, Pepsi thought they would like that chant. Did the people use the chant at the games? How was this chant excepted by the media? I do not think that this chant is bad, it is for a sporting event were you want a chant simple and easy to repeat. You can also shout this and put alot of enthusiasm into the worlds.

yes it is really stupid . that add always comes when i see cricket matches.it is a irritating chant.i think this a chant made for indian players so that the it gives them some power.

written down it does look silly. But perhaps it doesnt sound so bad when said aloud by a big crowd. Maybe it has a catchy tune?
Aussies have the slogan "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, oi, oi" which looks silly but sounds alright once it is said aloud properly. It's quite catchy too.

PEPSI IS JUST DOING THIS 2 GAIN ITS LOST REPUTATION IN INDIA AFTER IT WAS ACCUSED OF MIXING PESTICIDES IN DRINKS. IF COCA-COLA CAN TRY TO IMPROVE ITS REPUTATION WHY WOULS PEPSI STAY BEHIND.
