I'm pretty sure the point of this question is to remind you that when you multiply by a fraction (a number BETWEEN 0 and 1) the answer is smaller than what you started with. When you divide by a fraction, because that's the same as multiplying by the reciprocal, the answer is bigger than what you started with. That's exacty the opposite of what happens when you multiply or divide by numbers greater than 1.

The product of any number multiplied by 0 is also 0. But if the multiplier is between 0 and 1 ,then the product is always less than the multiplicant. In the case of division,if you divide any number by 0,the result is infinity. But if you divide the number by numbers betweeb 0 and 1,the answer will always be greater than the number itself

when you multiply by 1 you get the same number, and the same thing happens when you divide by one.
when you multiply by 0 it's always 0, because no matter how many times you multiply nothing it's still nothing.
and there is a thing , that you can't divide by 0, and you can't divide 0

These numbers are fractions.

If you multply a number by them it gets smaller
Ex: .25 x 6= 1.5

If you divide a number by them, it gets larger in all but a few cases (extremely small fractions).

Ex: 6/.25=24
