This is always a question for those being abused. I am not surprised. The one hurting u will tell u sorry it was just that once or convince u u got them made and made them do it. The truth is no body deserves to be hit. love does not involve hitting. If u okay it once then u will okay it again. You can't help that person or change them.It is something with in them that need to be handled by that person. It will get worse and the violence will exscalte. from a push to a shove so slap to a fist. Ihave seen it all.You did nothing wrong and nothing to deserve it. If u mean when should u try and sneak out .best have a freind with u when getting ur stuff at atime u know he will be away just incase he does come home. If u mean should leave after this first time hitting u sadly yes is the answer but u already knew that.

Violence comes in many forms in relationships but ultimately it is an act of power over another person that causes harm be it physical, emotional, spiritual, etc. If someone you love physically hurts you they have a problem. The person who hurt you may make you feel as though you did something to deserve being hurt for example "you should not have pushed my buttons". Violence is never justifiable in a relationship. They may say that they lost control...no they didn't. Domestic violence is very controlled..that's why most of the time the perpetrator hits where bruises wont be seen and in the confinements of the family home. If you have been hurt by someone who loves you, you need to get out ASAP. The longer you leave it the worse it will become..your self esteem will erode with time and the violence will get worse with time. If you have children....the violence hurts them even if they don't see it.......

Wait till the go to work or leave for a significant part of time, so you pack what you need and leave. If you try to leave while they are there they will try to mess with you. Or you could call the Police and have them sit while you pack what you need and then leave.

After breakfast. Fix the someone you love some eggs and bacon. Then as they're digging in to their food bash them in the head with the iron skillet you used to cook the eggs. Breakfast is then over. That's the best time to leave.

just found your question after 10 a.m. today. but you shouldn't even have to ask this. the answer is a.s.a.p. , once he hits you or even pushes you it is a sign that it will happen again or get even worse. you should of just called the police and show him it will NOT be anywhere a part of or even tolerated in your relationship! good luck honey and please don't put up with this?

You leave the moment your lover hits you. It's a sign of things to come if you stay with this person any longer.

You should leave as soon as possible. There are agencies out there that will help you seek them out. The violence will only get worse. Good luck

KATE12 how old are you? (don't tell me) but you sound very young. No one has the right to hit some one. If that preson hits you now what will it be like later. If you are young get help. If you are over 18 still get help.
