the only way the result is likely to be affected is by being negative......if you are on a good contrceptive pill and are taking it approprietly then i doubt that you are pregnant.

This is for you and all the dummies that said sex affects the results of the pregnancy test, NO it does not. Sex and semen will not affect the test results. Odds are pretty high that she might be pregnant. She needs to go to the doctor and have a blood pregnancy test. The Hcg levels in the blood are more concentrated than in the urine. Another thing that you can do, is buy one of the early detection pregnancy tests and have her take it the minute she wakes up, since the pregnancy hormone is higher in the morning after you wake up.

If you are pregnant, then it will show that you are. I do not think it would matter. I do not know if you skipped a pill or not, but if you do, then you can get pregnant easier. So, don't skip pills, but I think the test will tell if you are or not, no matter if you are on the pill or not. You know, you can check with the druggist at your drug store. They have a wealth of information about drugs. I check with them all the time about stuff and they are very willing to share with you. Call them to be sure.

No, it's fine. The BCP won't affect the results, but it is best to take the test around the time your period is supposed to be due. HTH : )
