I believe in the mermaid syndrome, where people are born with their lower legs fused together. I believe in that. But I don't believe in Mermaids per se.
I do believe in the Kraken, though. You remember the Kraken, from that old movie Clash of the Titans? And I believe that the real Kraken moves all herky-jerky stop-motion like, too. I knew a guy who moved like that for real. Used to do all kinds of drugs, so it affected his motor skills. It was really sad. He got hit by a car and died. Real sad.

It is believed that spirits first lived in animals. And the mixing of
spiritual energy with animal life created many wild looking
beings. It says in Genesis that ALL flesh had been corrupted.
And the Creator cursed animals as well as man, for He was
sorry he made them!
Everything that ever lived is still alive in the spirit world. But I don't now if there are any such things as mermaids living on our world.
Nostradamus predicted they will find an "amphibian", I believe
on an English coast. Some say there is a reptilian type of being
living in our oceans.
Jesus said there is nothing we will not find out about before
He returns. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT ALL!
Pity those who indulge in fear and skepticism. They know not what a wonderous and joyous place or world realy is.

Mermaids are a neat fantasy for kids to believe in now. Hundreds of years ago, people heard stories by drunken sailors about mermaids they had seen and believed it. But, in reality, there's never been any such creature.

It is believed that Mermaids were created when sailors at sea would pull in the dugongs and have sex with them to fulfill their sexual frustrations.
However, I don't know whether it is physically possible for a Dugong to concieve a mermaid by man.

Err....
No... mermaids are make-believe. Not real.
When I was little I wanted to be Ariel the Little Mermaid. I was obsessed. But I got over that when I was 7. What a strange question.

Yes. Mermaids are the evolution of humans. Or vice versa.
