We're children and we're free from you,
There's nothing here to follow,
But the track marks on our body,
What does it matter, we're free.

This freedom from this cruel world,
Is vital for us all,
We'd lock ourselves up with anyone,
So long as we are free.

There must be a way to carry on,
The animal called the man,
Even though new men won't matter,
To us; the people who are free.

We're children and we're locked from the world,
There's nothing here to follow,
But the track marks on our body,
Never did we have a choice.

This sounds like a very meaningful poem. It sounds to me if you were writing this poem about yourself, you have had a very ruff time in some point of your life.
To me it kind of sounds like a poem writen about a person, not saying it is you, about a drug addiction and that you are trying to escape the cruel world through this.
Overall I like the poem as it has so much meaning behind it.

Interesting poem. I think some of the lines need polishing and refining, particularly with regard to metre, but the idea and the presentation of it are strong.

Sounds like you have some abuse issues, you should seek some help in those areas and then maybe you can lighten up on your poetry.
