First and foremost get this checked out with your doctor
You may have an abscess or a cyst developing there

Don't ignore the headache , it may be your body's warning to pay attention to what your scalp is going through.

The "soft spot " (fontanel )
is the gap between the scull bones ,which have yet to be united onthe TOP of a babies head .

This can not normally ,be felt ,
after , about 2-3 years old .
when the scull bones, fuse together completely.

I hope this discomfort is soon sorted out for you

Tata, As a generalisation, all newborns are expected to have a patent foramen ovale. (This is what is termed as a ‘soft-spot.’) The time frame over which most seal shut varies. However, adult autopsy studies have shown that 20-34% of adults from the third to ninth decades of life have at least a small patent foramen ovale. With the symptoms that you describe, although the soft spot may not be connected to these symptoms, you would be advised to be seen by a doctor. There may be nothing of consequence upon examination, but your symptoms may be an indication of a more serious development. Therefore, to be safe, you would be advised to have a medical examination to exclude anything of this nature. Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
