i just dont want to be a graphic artist, they say the salary is low... what course ill i take if i want to be an animator???

There are multiple kinds of animators, do you want to make games or do you want to work on movies? Are you interested in drawing the animation frames, or learning 3D animation? The skills are related, but they are different specialties and the courses you'd take after the introductory ones would be different. 2D animation is also done with Flash, which might be part of a graphic design curriculum and less of a "fine arts" program.

a very very good artist but it depeands on what co. or person you work for and what you do best..
