An a hole doesn't know HOW to be too nice....but a guy who is too nice is a bit of an a hole anyway cos it usually means he's being "sucky" and that can be irritating...suggestions: be polite but not sucky, be generous but not smothering, be gentle but strong (let her know if you think she's being a pain but be nice about it), be tender when its important but not when its not...that's creepy...and ALWAYS remember the difference between men and women - neither is superior to the other we are just different.

no one likes extremes. when i say i dont like guys that are 'too nice' (because i do say that) i mean that i just dont like guys that I KNOW will do anything I say, or agree with every opinion i have, or give me whatever i ask for (which is unlike me anyways, to ask for things I mean). I guess what Im trying to say is that i dont like guys that I feel I can walk all over. Not that I would, but a girl knows when shes got that power over a guy, and for me its a turn off. I like guys that are strong. That i know are doing things for me because they feel like it, not because they are kissing my ***. I like a guy to have his own mind and act like a man that he is, not like a little *****. I want to see a guy Im with as an equal, not like someone I can punk.

In between is not smothering and not always wanting to help to the extreme. But being friendly, courteous and caring is nice and to be desired.
