good question. i have read all the previous answers, and i think it worth a good thought. may be it will be this way,; in my opinion, first of all the type of crime should be considered (i.e. not every criminal would be subject to these tests)
no torturing, or crippling ops. no life threatening to the criminals whatsoever (even if he is in the death row)
testings should made to the criminal with a deal; i.e not free, that is by certain amount of money that will help him when he get out to stay out of crime again.
it worth the thought.

For sure, the animals are way better thast the criminals.
But, I think criminals should only be tested with stuff that can seriously injure them in some way!!

We should be able to vote for best question as well!

Actually there are criminals who volunteer for testing...
It gets them time off of their sentence.

No way....

That would be an inhumane way to treat people who are already paying the price for their crimes committed. What if one of your family members was imprisoned? Would you want them being tested on?

NO. They are still human beings and not animals. Let the court decide what to do with them. If they agree to do this, then ok, but otherwise, let them serve their time, or face the death penalty. God decides their fate, and if they are devils, then so be it. I say, chop their heads off. . .

No! they have committed a crime, yes! they serve their time. But! that does not mean they have to be tortured as well! After saying that, it does not mean that I condone torturing animals either! Nothing that's living, should be tortured, period!!!!
