Yes, it's possible to have sex without breaking your hymen. The hymen is not an indicator of whether or not a person has had sex. There are usually remnents of broken hymens. It doesn't disappear but, some women have hymens that can stretch instead of break. The hymen does stretch for most virgins when they try to use tampons but, sometimes their hymens break this way. The strength of the hymen is very individual. It's one of the reasons why many women don't bleed the first time they have sex but, bleed the second or third time or never bleed at all! Also, some women are not even born with hymens. Other women need to have their doctors remove their hymen even after intercourse.

RE:
A straight answer...is it possible to have an intact hymen after intercourse?
I know that a lot of girls break their hymen from sports and etc, but is the hymen merely stretched in some women? I keep reading and keep getting conflicting answers. Example, on a doctor's site, she stated that a hymen ring is still intact after intercourse and remenants of the hymen can be...

Different women have different sized and shaped hymens. If you have a thin crescent which is stretched and a gentle lover, you can have your hymen stay in tact. If you have a fuller hymen, bordering on an oval or circle then your chances of having an intact hymen are considerably lessened even if you have a gentle lover, though it still could be possible if you get stretched over a period of time. PS Noone has a full circle or oval; menstrual blood passes through the opening.

You are gonna read a whole load of conflicting answers - so the best is really that YES it IS possible but extremely unlikely as the membrane that ruptures during penetration is simply that a very thin membraneous layer of skin. If you are wondering about yourself, then I would suggest going to see a gynea and getting them to check it out. I wouldn't be too worried about it though cos if it didn't break once it will later

from what I understand, some women have stronger hymen than others. This is why some get broke during sports, ect. and some can have sex unless with a very endowed partner and it gets real rough it remains intact.
