I would invite the leaders of all countries for group meditation. Before meditation they must join hands for group prayer. At the end of the meditation they must hug each other and promise to be nice to each other. They must promise to make their future decisions based solely on love - no negative thoughts, no hatred, no killings - only love.
On more personal note I"ll try not to be nasty to my estranged husband & his highly paid mistress.

First off, I'd buy up all the Jack Link's jerky factories, as well as whoever makes Dr Pepper and Kinder Chocolate. Then I would instruct them to make sure I had daily supplies of all of this for the rest of my life.
After that, I'd make gay marriages legal, harden the punishment for sex offenders and make it so that all rapes must be tried in the Supreme Court and not the County Court...Aaand...I'd also get my mother a Harley Davidson as she is a biker chick.
Oh, and I would also get my daughter whatever the damn hell she wanted.

I would make a law that says everyone MUST do 3 good deeds, and take time to plant a tree... go on a picninic and give all health care workers a rasie if only for 1 day- double their pay-
the possiblilities are endless!

I'd make all the people on unemployment benefits actually do some work unless they have a legit reason. In my country (NZ) would make the people in prisons do some work and not just sit on their bums complaining about how bad their lives are and how expensive their chocolate bars are. also ban children under the age of 15 from malls for the day (would make it soooooo much better!!)

Gas would be "on the house" for one day . compliments of the fuel companies and their reward would be a giant tax write off.
But people would only be able to fill up one time.

Eat more fiber,
