Get yourself a cheesecake (or another fatty food) everyday and eat the whole thing in front of your lover. Tell him you will eat one every day until the wedding.

i am sorry for this sudden change it must be very hard. Maybe this is for the best. why the extra year? financial reasons? you wouldn't want to start off on shaky ground. Second thoughts? amybe the extra time will give you time to show him how much you love him. If you really love him you won't mind waiting. But it is disappointing.Maybe you two dould see a marriage councelor and be sure the marriage it heading in the right direction or if you need to work on some things in the year to come. Plan the wedding like you want. Make a scrap book of all the things you two have done together and add things in there as they come along. Be patient. Congratulations on the wedding coming. My husband and I married after 3 months and we had a rocky road for the first year. But now I have never been happier in my Life.

There is nothing wrong with waiting hun the love is there already if he has asked you.Now you have more time for those last minute detials and even the chance to add things to your wedding u didin't think of becuase u can save some more money.Enjoy watching the episodes of a wedding story on tv and getting ideas and knowing yours is coming and when it does it will be worth the wait. Congrats on the wedding

He wants to wait for the planning or the wedding? If it is the planning, you can do your own still. If it is the wedding, you could use until 2007 as much planning, work and money a wedding takes.

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

Ohhh... that would be disappointing!! Maybe you can start a quilt ...with each coming month make the squares sweet and special to include all the things you want to do with your beloved ;) Happy nuptuals!

well, i am a laywer & i've seen many cases like these. my idea is both of you may try "De Facto Relationship". It is a pre-marriage which both of you will be able to live together legally as a couple. It's legally binding.

Email me & I'll let you know more : Edmond_Express@hotmail.com

start finding things that you would like, keep samples in a box to show him when the time comes. let him know you do not want to wait and ask him why do you have to?? good luck

Why not start planning a little on your own? Get ideas of what you want and keep a log.

That's a rough one. I'd be suspicious of a guy who wanted to put it off another year. I would be unhappy too if I were you.
