Perhaps because they hate their race,or the other race is more intelligent or better in bed-your thoughts.

Going outside your race is not a good idea. Humans should ONLY date Humans. Several hundred years ago we abducted several Humans from 14th century England and tried to cross breed them with a peaceful race called the Gonfrix. We had to manipulate the DNA to make them breed true and the resulting offspring were nothing like the parents. Once they escaped, they formed swarm type breeding colonies and have waged war against us ever since. Unfortunately, they may end up as Humanity's only legacy because it is unlikely that Humans will be able to allocate the necessary resources needed to establish viable breeding populations off the Earth before a planet killing disaster occurs.

i have dated woman of other races and I don't think there is nothing wrong with that. The funny thing is that when i dated a black woman years ago,I always get nasty looks from black men,but they don't seem to have a problem dating white women.
I have also dated Asian women,from Thailand,and I think they are hot..and race is not really an issue with me..it is the person that you are with and their personality ..I guess that is what is called being color blind..as far as people go.
I have also dated a woman from Spain.."white Spanish" I think she called herself,but my family and friends thought she was black..but I think my family is prejudice and ignorant anyway.

I agree with the first answerer; people do date for all the wrong reasons anyway, race is yet another. May people hate themselves so they will date someone that has no resemblance of that which they hate. Or, some people will date for other reasons such as blacks dating only white girls because they are perceived as freaky and easy.

Well, it is obvious that some people date outside their race, as a form of rebellion. To make someone mad or get attention.
Some do it to prove that they can!

I know that quite a few women in Shanghai (as in locals) date foreigners hoping for a status raise. I find that disgusting.
When money and social status aren't issues, it's a-okay by me.
