looking to put on some Eibach lowering springs and shocks. I was looking at Tokico adjustable shocks. Is the price worth it in the long run. For the springs and shocks it will cost about $700 for the best deal i could find. I ordered some Konig Beyond wheels also and am thinking about getting the Nitto NT555 and NT555R's for the rear. i ordered the car, but i won't take delivery until i get back from iraq

Look pal, you got a nice new car already. Use it for awhile. It's already got excellent springs and shocks, and yes, even the wheels are great. So why you in such a hurry to replace everything. Heck, you don't even have the car yet!!!

Hell yeah the springs and shocks are worth it. Useless of course you ordered an automatic. Then **** it, buy a man's car.
be careful not to get wheels that are too big. Don't go over 18' diameter or all that money you spent on the springs and shocks will be worthless.
Forget adjustable though. Buy ones that are more basic. They can take more abuse and age better. Plus, once you find the level you like you never get around to adjusting them. If you buy none-adjustable they come pre-tuned by highly skilled engineers.
Don't buy RACE spring or shocks, buy STREET spring and shocks or you'll pull your motor mounts right out (usually at high speeds. I know it happened to me) and risk seperating your trasmission mounts from the engine. That will cost atleat 2 grand to completely remedy.
Anyways, there is nothing like a fast car with the suspension to back it up. 80 miles an hour is fast. 80 miles an hour around a double s turn is REALLY fast

If you modify the suspension, and a few miles down the road you have a problem with the driveshaft angle, cracked strut tower, worn suspension components, etc. If you take it in for warranty repairs, Ford will deny the repairs because the suspension has been modified and is no longer factory, and possibly caused the failure. That is the reason behind waiting until it is out of warranty.

You will void your warrantee. Once to alter your suspension, thealignment now needs to be changed as well. If you run into drivetrain problems later, Ford will repair it for you at a steep cost. Pass on the GT and go to the Shelby / Saleen. They will run for you.
Oh by the way, my nephew blew off the GT at the track recently. He drove his 2005 4 cylinder supercharged cavalier and turned 13.8 seconds in the 1/4 mile. So much for the GT's. Even a friend who built a Honda Civic with the V-Tech 4 clyinder dusted a GT.Dont embarass yourself, your already to spend the bucks on top of car payments , so you may as well just go for top of the line Shelby.
