down? sometimes my stomach feels really hard and it hurts and when i touch it softens. i also feel a lot of pressure near my pelvic area. is this normal? am i ready for labor or is this just normal things i have to go through for the next 9 weeks? sometimes i feel like my baby's head is way down there near my vagina....

It sounds like you are normal. When your stomach turns hard that is called Braxton-Hicks contractions. Just a precessor to labor; It is your body getting things ready for bitth day. You are feeling pressure in the pelvic area becasue the babys head it pushing its way down, while stretching out your pelvic bones.
This may go on for a few weeks. Although don't distress.....it just means that your body is preparing itself for the actual labor.
You are experiencing the most amazing thing on the planet- growing a child inside of you and eventually giving birth. Each time it is a major miricle.

well i am 30 weeks pregnant and i find the same things are happening to me my doctor told me it is perfectly normal. It just your body getting ready for the delievery and for the head being way down low the baby just has less room to move now!

I think this is just normal, and you have a few weeks of waiting still to do. The baby is quite big now and will be moving around. Sometimes it will choose com,fortable positions for you, and others will be more uncomfortable.

Talk to your doctor or health visitor for reassurance.

my due date is Nov.30.....I am having all of the same symptoms .I am not concerned cuz it's # 4 and par for the course.
