Absolutely. The best writer America produced, if I can say that as a nosy Canadian. I love Poe. The Tell Tale Heart still gives me shivers, every time I read it. And for a change you can sort of thank the French for being big Poe fans. The French Symbolists loved him.

Edgar Allen Poe is amazing. I love his short stories. The Tell-Tale Heart and The Cask of Amontillado are one of his best short stories in my opinion.
