I'm taking two of my friends to Vegas for 5 days. It will be their first time there, and I've only been there for functions not really to party. Non of us are big gamblers and we're already going to see a couple of Vegas shows.

What else is there to do besides gambling? We'd like to check out a few good clubs and perhaps a male strip joint (a classy one, not sleazy). Any suggestions?

We're staying at the south end of the strip.

The first couple of times I went to Vegas, I never gambled at all. There's so much to do, you don't have to gamble.
Re the male strippers: I read a review that said the Chippendales dancers are much more raunchy/erotic than the Thunder from Down Under. Chippendales goes "full monty", but only from behind. Thunder is more conservative and friendly.
Other things to do that your other answerers haven't mentioned:
Luxor has a very good simulator ride (2 rides in one, actually) and 3D Imax attraction. They have great live bands and atmosphere at Margaritaville (at the Flamingo), ditto for Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah's (if you like country). The Forum Shops at Caesars and/or the Grand Canal Shops at Venetian are spectacular "malls" with great restaurants, even if you can't afford to shop there (like me). Rio's Masquerade In The Sky is a fun parade with music and floats overhead and a stage show free - every hour all afternoon and evening. Downtown's Fremont Street Experience is also a hoot - an outdoor party 3 blocks long with live bands on weekends and the overhead light show every hour after dark. Almost every casino has a lounge show or two for the price of drinks, some have karaoke or magic or hypnotist shows, too. Just check the hotel websites directly to see who's playing currently.

Well, The shows at the MGM Grand are good. The Luxor has a few good shows that they deal with. Lat I knew, the Excaliber has a dinner show. You get your meal and get to watch a jousting cometition while you eat. That one is my personal fav.

If you are a Trekky, there is the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. There is the Roller Coaster at New York New York. There is also the roller coaster and Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere. There is always Gameworks. That is in the same building with the giant Coke bottle.

There are so many things to do that you don't have to be gamleing for. You can even hit Fremont street right at nightfall to watch the light show on their walkway ceeling.

There is the nightly shows at Treasure Island, where they sink a ship. THe Mirage stes their pond on fire. The Billagio has a great fountan show set to music an lights. There are indoor shows at Ceasers Palace where the statues in their fountains come to life and start there thing. That one is a cool display of animitronics.

Just to catch all of these would take you a few days.
There are a lot more, but these are the ones that come to mind right off.

If you have a car then go see Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Valley of Fire State Park and Death Valley National Park.

i went to see the chippendales dancers. (i think it was at the excalibur, but i dont remember, they're all the same to me) i dont think it was worth the money. i heard that Thunder from Down Under was better, but i wouldnt even bother. i dont know of any other male strip shows.
personally though.... the valley of fire is worth it, if you like nature sort of things. (its way up 15 north, so you would have to get a car or find a tour)
and if you like meditteranean food, eat at Paymons (maryland parkway and flamingo) they have a hookah lounge also, its a lot of fun
