Yes, when our vision through spectacles appears blurred, we first clean the lenses with a clean piece of cloth, and then if still needed look at our eyes, further if needed the eye doctor....
Same thing... just look at our perception levels.. the sense organs, the mind that relies upon these imperfect sense organs, and then the limited reasoning power of logical mind , clouded at times, by the overpowering emotions (intuitional aspect of mind), and as if all this is not enough, the analysis of memory, driven by preconceived judgment, the thrust of desires and expectations... ! Seems to have reached a dead end.
The self-awareness is the witness to all this drama !
Then use this self-awareness as a tool and deepen the perception within, beyond sense organs (not that we have a clear sense of direction, though), but nowhere else to go too !
Here some trust on those who have some experience would help , just to take a chance, with no risk at all (already we have a feeling that, all this is otherwise looks just like a retarded joke !) !

No, you're one of the performers in real life.
If you feel your life has no meaning that is because you don't have a religion in your life. Religion gives a persons life meaning. Ok, there are countless forms of religion, so which one should you choose? I'd suggest you go for the best. Find a Christian church which caters to people of your age group. What makes it the best? It puts some order into your life, it gives you good guidelines to live by, and you get to be friends with the ring master.

Pinch yourself, hard. Then take a cold shower. Reality sinking in a bit? Good, now go do something you enjoy,(not TV) and get yourself a treat.

I think as soon as you question reality, you contradict yourself.
It's not an easy hole to dig out of. We mostly work under the assumption of a reality causally connected to our experiences to speak meaningfully.

Real is what your mind believes to be true. Not simply what you can see or touch. If you're mind believes it, it's real enough.
