Well for starters the missiles that they own can take a nuclear weapon and put it on someone else's country. Their dictator (who imprisons his citizens for not referring to him as beloved leader) is at the very least unbalanced mentally and might be flat out insane ! Putting that much destructive power in his unstable hands could mean hundreds of thousands dead for whatever small thing angered him that day.

There are nuclear weapons scattered across the world and all of them can be brought into play by just one nuclear detonation.

In short, that little dictator could start armageddon. I think we should all care very much.

Wake up and smell the roses. How's about they would like to see how well their weapons perform say, in S.Korea, or Japan? It might be their land, but the air in their land tends to move elsewhere, loaded with nuclear fallout. How many years have you been sleeping, now? Even a 7 year old kid could figure these things out.

Because we will no longer be able to dictate our (US) demands on them, like the rest of the poor/weak countries in the world. You say it don't happen this way? Well, have u read any history about Latin America in the last 30 years?

The idea that they will use their nukes on another country is ludicrous and shows outright stupidity, because the N. Koreans will know that once they use it, they will be wiped out. And trust me, people in power once in power, will always want to be in power and would do the impossible to make sure they never live with out it. So they make nukes so that the global and regional powers will not be as demanding and threatening toward their rule.
