this question is being asked a lot lately. unless a vehicle has a limited slip or locking differential then it is one wheel drive( one front or one rear drive wheel) or two wheel drive( one front and one rear drive wheel) if it has a 4 wheel drive option. to all of you who believe that rear wheel drive or front wheel drive means two wheel drive, and 4WD means all 4 wheels are drive wheels, im very sorry but it doesn't. all wheel drive does not mean all wheel are driving all the time, what it does mean is that when the main drive wheel begins slipping some torque will be transferred to the drive wheel on the other end of the car (f/r) winter driving is much easier with a 4wd vehicle because of better traction, but you still need to slow down because once you apply you brakes, there is no advantage to 4wd. hope this helps

I think you mean "asleep at the wheel" or "falling asleep at the wheel" which is a phrase that means you weren't paying attention. Such as falling asleep at the wheel of the car which can have very dire results. So, it is usually used when someone wasn't paying attention and it cause bad results.

It means doing something unconsciously without being focused or aware, for example, literally driving while falling asleep at the wheel.

literally it means falling asleep while driving.
It's also used as a wordplay. Example would be maybe.... say your at work and not really paying attention to what your doing so you make a mistake, people would say your asleep at the wheel. I've heard it used in reference to security guards not doing their job well (letting someone in they shouldn't have)
Can also refer to sleeping while your at work.
Hope i helped

I think it means you weren't paying attention, to things that needed your attention. It usually means there was some fallout from your inattention.
