I am working in Dubai as a civil engineer for 3 years and my hubby is working here as a Mechanical Engineer for 9 years.We together earn about $4800.00/month.But the rent in Dubai is too high and there is no security in this country.Neither job wise,nor legal wise.But it seems its boom time for us in Dubai,being from construction line.Please advice whehter moving to Australia will be a good idea?Any body who has moved to Australia with similiar background?Is it going to be ok?

If you work in Construction then I would think about going somewhere else soon. I really think they are over building and that they are going to crash eventually on that side of things. I don't know about Austrialia because, yeah I have heard it isn't great for nonwhite folks. You may want to consider Canada if you can handle the winters because of the Construction in some of the cities. Vancouver may have a lot soon but diffenitely Calgary or Fort McMurrey.
Dubai is great but I don't think it is the kind of place you can stay forever. It is just getting to expensive.
Where ever you go just try and find out what you have to do for your Engineering to be valid there.

Neither job wise, nor legal wise" UAE is the most secure country in the middle east... its true that Dubai is getting more expensive every day but I think Australia is expensive too because when I used to order online it was expansive I think the usa and Canada cheaper

Ya,If u are going to get good salary in Aussie's country then u should move to Australia.Also u will get comfort and security in Australia than Dubai.And also one Important note progress of Dubai is due to it's Petrol & Fuel.If tomarrow if prices of Fuels decreases then the Dubai's Economy is going to fell in Construction line also.

Dubai is better. Seriously. Australia has some racist people. So dont create trouble and get discrimintated in Australia with the wild lifestyle of the people.
