Switch from one tivo to another?

i have Tivo thru direct Tv. i will be moving soon and will not have direct tv, but i have many programs saved on my current tivo. is it possible to switch them onto a new machine? (i know i should call direct tv but i am at work and it is 330 am, and all my info is at home.)

you could still hook it up to yor new tv and watch thr shows that are already on there just cannot get any new ones, no you cannot switch them if they are the same brands and you hook them up like a network then yes but what you want to do, no

HD transplant :)
rip the HD (hard drive) out of the DTV DVR and put it in the official TiVo
