If you made a lot of cash, you could go anywhere and live like a King.
You can even buy an island.
Or, you can do like the richest man in Ireland did.
The grandson of the founder of the Campbell Soup Company, John Dorance, renounced his American citizenship back around 1995, sold all his stock in Campbell Soup (was selling for around $83.00 a share then) avoided paying capital gains tax, and packed up and became a citizen of Ireland.
Without any money, you can forget about it.
Everyone, everywhere else looks for Americans to bring cash to their countries.
Capitalism, that's what it'a ll about my friend.

none how ever Australia is the best place in the world to live we have a number of American refugees here
the African union isn't a union in the sense of a unified pan government as the EU is. You will need to meet visa requirements t emigrate to many countries. Australia has ahuge growth rate and has many labour shortages in many areas

America is so big and diverse, from the San Juan Island of Washington to the hatian barrios of Southern Florida, you'r telling me you can't find a place in this country? Moreover, the grass isn't greener on the other side of the boarder. Make peace with where you are.

Melbourne, Australia was featured as the best city to live in the world. Never been there but would like to check it out one of these days. You might want to research on Greece as well. I don't know of any unions though.

Well I would say stick around in America, this is still the land of the free.
Americans are not treated good in other countries so be careful out there.

You can try Cuba, Haiti, or any other slew of third world countries. I am sure they will sympathize with your troubled plight and an American citizen.

Really does not make any difference where you go ----enjoy it--have a good vacation -- that"s what you need once in a while -- to take a break and get away from it all. Then ---- use your return trip ticket to come home, to a great land.
