This what in other words called Murphy's Law which says the moment you think that the worst is going to happen it would mostly happen. If you notice closely the law has a point in that 'If you notice the worst, the worst is gonna happen to you. That clearly means either the worst or the best is of our own origin. We derive in our own volition both the best and the worst. There has been a lot of mythological quotations written in this regard in the ancient Indian culture. In Mahabharata of the ancient times, the Arjuna was advised to aim his arrow at the eye of the pigeon rather than the head of the pigeon as practised by his opposite camp called 'Pandavas.' By this the Hindu God Krishna meant to Arjuna that if one aims for the best the result would always be the best. This is what I had observed when Chapel brothers had been conducting a few years ago camps in India to find fast bowlers for Indian cricket team. They put stress on the bowlers not to aim at the batsman's head or face but to keep a mental focus on the spot where they are going to pitch the ball. That has brought better bowlers for India now. The same was said in the biography of Ogilvy's 'The Confession of an advertising man' in which he quoted Leo Burnett as saying, 'when you go up aim for the stars and you would not come up with mud either'. Aim for the most wanted and you would never come up with an excuse such as 'unwanted things at unwanted times'. It is all one focusses. Thanks for the question.

Well, I am not sure what was unwanted, but...I think it's because life is constantly changing, and we as humans don't like change, we get comfortable.....when something unwanted happens, it usually involves change, either you learn from it and grow, or you fight it. I think when something unwanted happens, you should ask yourself, what you can get out of it, and put into a positive thing.

It is natural. Whatever happens in an unwanted time is always an unwanted thing.

We can't control the universe. Remember, some things that don't happen (even if we wished that they would) keep us from disasters. There are accidents that harm and accidents that help.
There is always a balance and a harmony. As children, we were told the world would blow up. That was the predominant idea in the 50's. Baby boomers are really grateful that we made it this far.

That's like saying why do good things happen to me at good times. Which came first the thing or the time? Is the thing a reflection of the time or is the time a reflection of the thing?
Can one be in a good time and be experiencing a bad thing? Or can one be in a bad time and be experiencing a good thing?
Pretty hard to put this into perspective......
