1) what do we do with a buckle of a riding helmet? which verb should I use with it? is it "do up a buckle? or "fastened"? my sentence is "The riding helmet fastening system is equipped with belts and a buckle which should always be ..........."

- be fastened??

is the whole sentence correct or maybe I should change the whole sentence?

2) The next sentence from the same text (the text which I translated) is: An adequatlely buckled helmet is going to protect your head. - is it correct or should I use other words to express it?

3)The helmet which is properly put on does not slide off the head and tilt to any side

- put on??
-slide off??
-tilt??

have I used appropriate words. are the sentences correct?

1 - fastened securely.
2 - An adequately buckled helmet will afford better protection
3 - A helmet which is properly secured should not slide off the head or tilt to any side.

Your sentences were very good any way, but my suggestions above might be more gramatically correct.

1 fastened.
2 A helmet adequtely buckled...
3 I would say: A helmet that is properly put on...... WILL NOT slide off the head OR tilt to any side.

I agree with Silvi W, except that I would say "a properly buckled helmet" for 2
