Teenage 6 Pack

It's not best to do lots of working out over a short period of time. I have been doing rowing for about 7 months and I've got a really good six pack - slowly over a longer period.

But if you want it quick I guess with your weight it shouldn't be too hard. Try SLOW sit-ups. Probably everyone will say just do sit-ups... but they are much more effective if you do them slowly.

Try these, making sure that you really concentrate on using your abdominal muscles (six pack) and not other muscles like ones in your neck...

20 SLOW sit-ups with your legs at 90 degrees

10 SLOW sit-ups with your legs flat on the ground (harder)

Lie on the ground and put your left foot on the ground with your leg bent at 90 degrees.
Put right ankle on top of your left knee. Put your hands behind your head and slowly get your left elbow to touch your right knee... SLOWLY! Do this 10 times, and then swap over (right elbow touching left knee). This works on the sides of your abs.

Make sure you do lots of stretching before and afterwards so you don't strain anything... but it will also make you more flexible.

And I suggest doing some things with other muscles trying to strengthen them because it will look weird having a massive six pack and tiny arms! Do some push-ups, some squats (while standing go down bending your knees and then jump up in the air) and a bit of running.

Try doing all of this most days. Good luck!

DON'T SET UNREASONABLE GOALS. Having a "6-pack" is a fine goal, but to achieve it in under 30 days is unreasonable. Just get good advice from reputable, knowledgeable people and keep at it until you have it. If you set your time limit to 30 days, and you don't like what you see in the mirror, when the 30 days are up, how are you going to handle it? How are you going to maintain your 6pack abs after you attain that goal? Think longterm here, NOT (AND NEVER) QUICK RESULTS.

Diet won't give you a six pack - exercise will.

Sit-ups and crunches work the central abs, ie: six-pack area. Believe it or not the typical ab crunch tools actually do work to isolate the abdominal area.

Hanging ab workout will work the fastest. Hang from bar or rafters (etc.) raise knees to chest, keeping knees at chest height twist out to left, then out to right, then lower. Repeat as much as your desire will let you. This works abs as well as obliques.

Fastest visual ab results would be from working the obliques - the tie in muscles at the sides of the stomach. Use unloaded bar or even a broom stick. Put bar behind neck and arms over it. Bend knees slightly to lock hips and twist left to right. Use stomach muscles to both start and stop rotation. Find a good song (60-70 beats per minute) and hit it to the music. Do not twist until your full rotation point, use your abs to stop the rotation just before - the stop actually does as much good as the start. You can vary the stress point by moving you hands further in or out on the bar (broom).

Do it now - its much easier at your age as opposed to waiting until you are thirty and already have a keg.
