How to calculate the weight of a elephant with 4 weighing machines each under one leg?

For large bodies which cannot be weighed on one single weighing machine,then how to calculate the correct weight with multiple machines under each support?

If all four (one under each leg) are on a level base, simply add them. Stacking scales under a leg does no good; all would display the same weight if they did not break.
