The two's complement of a binary number is obtained by changing each digit to its complement and adding one. The two's complement of 1011 is 0100 + 1 = 0101. If you take the 2's complement of 0000, the result is 1111 + 1 = 10000; if you only take 4 digiits, then the number is 0000.
