what makes a person a human... wait a minute... scratch that... reverse it...
i thought nellie mclung (google her) dealt with this debate already. women are persons, but why? because our progressive modern society SAYS SO! oh ya, and it's completely obvious to half decent moral common sense... hmm. it's almost like a pattern...

Why wouldn't you care?
Furthermore, many questions on Yahoo! answers are made out of nothing more than curiousity, so who says I care in the first place? Why does it matter, indeed.
i never said "what happens to the bodies of dismembered humn fetuses".
READ THE QUESTION AGAIN! ignore your PRODEATH bias first, THEN answer the question... :-) Have a nice day.

I'm sorry the wording of your question was a little bit funny. Have you been watching anti-choice propaganda? Dismembered? Okay, most abortions are preformed during the first trimester and usually within the first few weeks. The 'baby' does not even have a proper body to dismember or chew up and it would be so tiny you probably wouldn't even know what it was. Most of what comes out is blood and a tiny lump of tissue that looks like a blood clot. Remember, it's very common for women to have early miscarriages and not even know it! It looks like a period. If the women has chosen to have a chemical abortion, the contents will most likely be flushed down the toilet or throw out with her pads as most chemical abortions are simply medically induced miscarriages. If the women has chosen to have a surgical abortion whether early or late term, I suspect that the contents of the uterus are disposed in the same way that most medical waste is disposed. I beleive that it is incinerated and/or burried. It would be nice if such tissue was used for stem cell research but, in most cases I don't think that happens.
Yes, embryos are human but, the real question you should be asking is whether or not an embryo is a person. In that case, I believe the answer to be no, embryos are not persons. Human DNA does not equate personhood. A single skin cell has human DNA therefore is human but, you would not give that cell the same rights as a person.

I heard that they just dispose of the fetuses in medical waste bags and thrown out as garbage.
They have hands,feet,eyes,legs,heads..and yes they are human, but the law says they are not and it is ok to do that .

Yes they are human. And you don't want to know. That's why you should not have sex. Because that little tickle, after it gets taken out of you, goes to the dump and is buried with your empty cherrios boxes, coffee grounds, and sunday paper.

Well I would assume they are human...what else would they be? aliens? After they are aborted they are discarded. Thrown away.

I know no one wants to hear this but they use parts of aborted babies in makeup. It's sick. I guess with other parts, they simply get rid of.
