i wud hav not been surprised if u had said "i hate American" but jealously ?? Come on !!! u r far Better than America in any regards ..u might be lagging in their development but why do u care?? u r living much batter life than Americans. be proud wht u r n enjoy ur status,

Maybe you think that Americans are better off than they actually are. We Yanks are doing okay, but the political invective is getting pretty nasty these days. But then again, there is the debate in the House of Commons... Enjoy. I think that Britain is a neat place, though I haven't seen much of it except the innards of Heathrow.

I'm American, and honestly can't fathom why any Brit would be jealous of us. I'd take Blair over Bush any day of the week.

You're like every body else.. its the old "Grass is greener on the other side". As an American I can tell you that life can be pretty rough here. Its nothing like what you think. I wouldn't go to Europe now though.. too many Terrorists running around for me unless I could pretend to be Canadian. :)
