ipod nano help?

i am a new user to ipod nanoi have 2 question.1st i tried to screen lock my ipod but i cant.i went to ipod website it didnt help can you tell me how to do it right.2nd question is there any virus that can damage my ipod from all the downloading.

There's two ways to lock your iPod. One is with the hold button at the top of it. The other one is the screen lock that comes within. To activate this screen lock go to the main menu of the iPod and then go to extras. Then go to screen lock and the go to change combination. There you can put the combination number to lock/unlock your screen. After you set it, push the middle button on the iPod's wheel. Go back to the screen lock menu and select turn screen lock on. A message will come telling you that if you forget your combination you can just connect the iPod to the computer and it will unlock. Then press lock again. That should do it.

About getting viruses in your iPod, if you purchase your music from iTunes there's no way you can get a virus in it. If your computer has a virus, it might infect the iPod too. So be careful.

There should be a little switch on the top of the nano to lock the screen and I know you can get a virus if your computer has a virus which you can potentially get if you're downloading music from a bad source.

Yes, you can get a virus into you're iPod if you download music from a source that has a virus, or from another computer (like a friends or something) that has a virus. I got a virus into my memory stick once, and believe me, its no picknick getting it out....
