My speedometer wont work on my 92 civic LX...why is that?? is it because of the vehicle speed sensor???

speedometer cable needs replaced. you will have to take the dash apart to get to ot. it hooks into your speedometer and runs to the transmission.

first of all is it a cable? or is it sensored? If its cable it could be the speedo it self is broke but most likely its the cable. If its sensor then well hopefully speed sensor or your guage and nothing else. I had a beretta which I replaced the gauges 3 times and the speed sensor twice but to only find out the wire coming from the sensor to gauge was screwed up. so there ya go

The cable has either come undone or broke.
