dirty fuel injectors most likely, you gotta be getting a missfire on the system probably need to update your code reader. Any slugishness will give a missfire code as the computer will adjust fuel, easiest way to find out is if your vehicle is consuming more fuel then it used to. Also double check the gap of the plugs some times mechanics on a rush dont gap them properly. I am still confused though because if it bucks even the knocking sensor will give you something, maybe your mechanic is playing a little game called reprograming the ECM or by using(missusing) the Code reader clearcode and shut light off that most high end readers have he was doing you a favor, it will actually reprogram the ECMU codes sector to no read giving you a clear code everytime even though there are falures in the system, in this case you will need to take your vehicle to the dealership and they will tell you if they can reprogram the ECMU or if you will need a new one, sorry pal code readers are great tool but need to know how to use them especially the more expensive ones that have the ability to comunicate and reprogram the ECMU.

Try 2 tanks of Chevron or the bottles of Technaclorine. It worked for when I got some bad gas up in the hills.
