I was watching a TV show late night and the host clame that brazil have the most transsexual in the world. I don't understand why they have so many but brazilian man are so macho plus they hate gay man.

Don't believe everything you see on television...
I imagine straight men feel a bit fearful they will be mistaken for one of these many transsexuals. So they set out to prove people wrong by going to great extremes. They also may feel a certain level of resentment towards transsexuals for putting them in this position.
We need to be careful when we make blanket statements about any group of people. It shows intolerance and can create an atmosphere of fear and hatred.

I’m a Brazilian women and bisexual, living in the US. My opinion is in your culture (Brazilian culture) is based on strong sense of male' power and domain on all area of our society.
The acceptance of transsexual is odd, and unnatural, and a rule of discrimination. But…
The end of day, I will be and live fighting for your rights, desires and perceptions of what you are.... not matter which country, religion or society you are connected to it.
The rest is just a globally infocommercial.

Fake, Brazil has the most plastic surgery in the world, American Black women have better curves then Brazilian women and they are naturally curvy.

Wouldn't you feel a little homophobic if the gays in your country masqueraded as women? You wouldn't know what was safe to touch and what wasn't. Brazil is having a nasty aids plague because of these " wannabe women"

Brazil was colonized by Portugal. So you inherited their 'machismo' attitudes to masculinity and gender role.
Straight men are threatened by gay men because they're scared we will seduce them and that they'll like it. Same reason for transexuals. They are scared that they will be attracted to a woman who used to have a penis. It confuses and scares them.

One explanation is that the world is full of hypocrites. There's men that would/do rape transwomen, but if any of their buddies found out they'd play it off as "breaking the fag in" and them proceed to put a bullet in her brain.

well, my guess would be because they are still a very catholic country, and in catholicism, it is a sin to be either gay or a transsexual, hence the homophobia
