An automatic transmission. It is on the market now, but only for Gold Wings. It isn't a true automatic but a rotary. All you do is shift to a higher gear, never to a lower gear. It automatically downshifts for you as your speed decreases. Great for those of us that are tour riders. Be advised, however, that they are VERY expensive. I paid $6000 for mine, plus $1500 to install it.
