Franklyn Roosevelt was the only president to be elected more than 2 times. He was elected a total of 4: 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944. He died early into his 4th term.

Tim C is incorrect. There were no constitutional term limits when FDR was president. The constitution was amended after his death.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt. After that they changed it to a maximum of two terms. My relative (ah-hem) Grover Cleveland, was the only president who served one term, skipped a term, then was re-elected for a second term. strange, huh?
