I could write a long story of reasons and thoughts to explain to you....what I am trying to ask. Because I don't want to disrespect anyone that reads this, or has a prominant part in my question. I apologize to anyone that I may effect with my question.
so here goes:
If War and Power were not just a game to our leaders of the world , Then why do they resale old/used weapons to the enemy?

I understand the used weapons are all some can afford...but if your enemy didn't have a gun...you would provide one for him at a cheaper price?

Cherry Blossom is correct. We sell old weapons to people who are our "Friends" of the moment, like the Taliban and Al Qaeda back in the '80s (Reagan and Bush Sr), and we make money, consolidate our power and maintain an edge over countries that cannot afford newer weapons.
In the Falklands War, a lot of bombs which Argentina had purchased from the USA failed to explode (Oops!), and after the war, which Argentina lost, Argentina threatened to sue the USA for selling them bad weapons. But they never did, because they still buy weapons from us!
So, Money, Power, and the ability to call anyone a friend or an enemy, depending what time it is!

power and wealth is a man's most valuable possesion...when the power is there, this means that the wealth will be there and so does other things dreamt by anyone in this world...the main question is not about the selling of weaponaries, but why?why do we want to have war?to prove who's stronger is it? that would be the right question that you should have asked....all the leaders just say that they want peace, but who is emphasizing it? they send thousands of military forces to bring down countries that is not under their control. they try conquer the countries with other values? why the killings..children have become victims of circumstances due to this fooloishness of our leaders...when all tghis tops, then ,peace and love shall be there...

Good question, thats what the Taliban has been using to kill US troops in Afghanistan since 2001. Old surplus weapons from the fight against the Soviets supplied back in the 70's and 80's from the US. Guess you never know who your true friends are!!!! That and war and the ability to make and sustain a war is a huge cash cow for any government.

sadly war is not just about freedom or justice. war is about economics. money is a form of power. when a country goes to war, thier business and industry benefit as a direct result. these in turn, provide jobs. jobs provide wages for the average person. the average person pays taxes to the government. the government has come to rely on taxes. the best way to avoid or defeat an economic recession or depression, is to go to war. the u.s. does it regularly.

It's because the way they stay in power is by keeping us in a state of fear in other words they need something to oppose that can create that fear . 1984 is a good way to try to understand this more but at first it may not seem so .

It's a game of who has the biggest, best, and newest weapons for killing each other. Winner stays alive.
