Well that question kind of depends on your personality... I mean, what will work for one person may be the total opposite for another...

I mean, here. Personaly, I like to write or draw. sometimes I make some interesting correlations between my writings and what set me off in the first place. Other things that I do, to relive pressure and stress, include driving... really fast... really far... while blaring music that has an angry sound to it... Or other times, it's just as simple as taking a walk around the neighborhood... It also depends on the situation too... I mean... a stroll through the neighborhood my not be as effective as say, having to get away from people at the moment to calm and collect my thoughts... but some of those may not work for you...

maybe going somewhere secluded, and just yelling till your lungs start to hurt would work,
Or cleaning, cooking... reading...
I don't know... just about anything... you just gotta' explore how you feel at that moment, and to a point, divulge yourself into the action you think would help.

That would be my advise...

By punching the wall so hard that your fingers hurt for the next few days and your knuckles become red. You'll soon forget all of your troubles and focus all of your mind on how much your hand hurts.

Do something that you like that does not harm you. Beyond that, it doesn't really matter *what* - just get some endorphins going, and you'll feel better!
