You know what everybody (male or female) is attracted to? Personality! You'll find as you grow older that looks will only get you so far. There will always be younger and more attractive women out there. Men leave physically beautiful women for women that appear to be less attractive all the time.

What's the reason for this? It's because even if a man thinks he wants a trophy on his arm it becomes boring and tiresome. It's exhausting to reassure someone that "they don't look fat" in that dress and the "slingbacks are better than the pumps". Men need to feel appreciated, attractive and secure too. If you're a woman worried about your highlights getting touched up and your nails filled before the weekend, it leaves little time for you to think about your partner and his happiness.

Men are attracted to women that make them feel like MEN. Women that appreciate them, listen to them and have more to offer than a pretty face.

I used to be one of those self absorbed women. I found that toning it down a bit made a huge difference! Throwing on a T-shirt, jeans and cowboy boots proved to be very liberating. First of all, I didn't have to worry about a draft blowing my dress off. Twisting an ankle while dancing in stilletos was a possibility destroyed by my well balanced, ankle protecting cowboy boots. In exchange, I had much more fun! My dance card was full and I made a lot of friends. Eventually, I began to feel sad for the women in the ladies room that spent so much of the evening primping, trying to improve what already "appeared" to be beautiful.

Being comfortable in your own skin is not only attractive, it's down right sexy!

I feel the same way you do but let me tell you something I was told by a man. Guys in the club are intoxicated and horny, a woman of our calibar would be out of their league in such a state. Most of the guys in the club are looking for that "normal, ugly" female so that he can sleep with her. You more so want a guy who is not so into the club scene. There is nothing wrong with having confidence in your self there are more women who should be like you and have some self confidence. GOOD LUCK

Well, you could come off as stuck up. Often people who even once call themselves pretty get accused of this.

You could also come off as too drunk, too sober, too shallow, too intellectual...

Or it could be that the guys are just intimidated, because you happen to be beautiful like a vision of god, and the figure they don't stand a chance... or they assume that because you're hot, you'll be stuck up, shallow, drunk, or whatever.

Sometimes, if you're going out with girls that are not as good looking as yourself, a guy will get one of his friends to play "wingman," and ask out the not so hot woman. Then when things are going pretty good with them, the other guy will ask out the "hot" one, and "Rescue" her from a night of boredom. Of course, the hot girl sometimes gets mad, and leave when her friend gets more luck than her... or the guy that's supposed to ask out the hot girl will choke.

It wouldn't kill you to go up and talk to the fellas some time... although that can be a little strange sometimes.

Or, you can try some shenanigans, like the "Wingman reverse:" Plan ahead of time. If a guy leaves a group of other guys to talk to your friend, she can ask "Hey, who's that guy?" pointing to someone in the group. The guy will probably tell her he's a friend. Then she can say "He's hot," and ask you to agree/ You say "Yeah, I guess so." She convinces you to wave to him a little, and then she waves to him, and he'll come over. Now, your friend can start drooling all over him, and the guy that had the courage to come up in the first place will be left to talk to you about your weird friend.

Guys usually trade off the difficult, and not always rewarding task of serving "wingman," so getting your girl to play head games like this should be rewarded in some way.

It is possible that subconsciously you may be sending signals that you are unapproachable and guys may feel like they cannot come up to you and make conversation with you. Maybe they assume you are already taken or may not be interested in them if you are above average in looks....

I think guys will sometimes hit on women who they find are easier targets....women who are average or heavy set girls who may be easier to pick up. Do you really want guys to hit on you who are only out to have a one night stand anyway?

It sounds like you need to find a better place to meet men. I have never really thought that clubs/bars are very good places to meet quality guys. They are usually out hunting for a piece of a s s....

That's just my opinion....good luck in the future....

Do you want to get hit on? Most guys (Most I said) aren't dumb and we can read body language relatively well. Also think about who you really want hitting on you. If you are just looking for a little flirting, just do the little shy low self esteem act.

Because the girls who arent so attractive seem to be easier to get with. Guys can just walk up to a very unattractive girl and tell her how pretty she is and she'll just fall all over him. And prettier girls seem to be intimidating. Its harder to get with a girl that hott as hell than a less attractive one. & guys dont want to be turned down

maybe the "less attractive" person has a better vibe coming off them. try dancing and socializing more. dont wait for someone to come up to you go up to them and make them notice you.sometimes looks dont pull a person in, its what there doing.

or strobe lights are messing up their visoion. no jk but it odes sound a little stuck up :/

well maybe some guys are just shy and afraid, like me. i know i am always afraid to ask a girl that is pretty, because i just figure that she will turn me down. maybe you should go up to some guys and introduce yourself. if you are even remotely pretty, i would like to go out with you.

I know what you mean, people tell me that I'm pretty, but I've never had a boy friend.
There are girls that have boy friends, but they be WAY fatter than me &/or Ugly.
The only guys that hit on me are OLDER than me, & it's really nasty cause I'm under aged.
